Election Day Recommendations

November 5, 2013, is election day for City of Houston candidates.  The ballot also includes a number of State and County-wide propositions of note.  Check out these endorsed candidates and propositions, as well as voting information.  Don't forget your photo ID, a new requirement for Texas voters.

 

 

The Houston Apartment Association Better Government Fund endorses and contributes to candidates for local and state wide offices. The following are HAAPAC's endorsements for City of Houston elections (you can print this list out and take it with you to the polls!):

The Texas Apartment Association supports Proposition 6 (a statewide ballot measure related to funding for water projects).  You can read more about TAA's support for this measure here

Your Harris County Voting Location and a Copy of a Sample Ballot.

 

www.VoteTexas.gov – The Secretary of State’s office has a website full of valuable voter information.  You can even check to find out if you are registered to vote at the site.   

 

www.HarrisVotes.org – The Harris County Clerk’s office has a website with information on where to vote in Harris County.  You can also print a copy of your voter registration card, if yours is missing.
