Casey Morgan, MPP, Chief Executive Officer and Publisher
Oversees the entire association staff and the association's mission. Works directly with the HAA Board of Directors on all association functions and serves as the HAA PAC Treasurer.

Amanda Sherbondy, CAE, Chief Operating Officer
Oversees staff, including HR related responsibilities, is the liaison to the HAA Product Service Council, and the Leadership Lyceum Program. Also, organizes events and volunteers for numerous Community Outreach programs, including the Food Drive and the All-Stars Sports Challenge; 

Ben McPhaul, Vice President, Government Affairs

Monitors government actions in Houston, Harris County and surrounding cities and districts, as well as the state and federal levels. Keeps members up-to-date on government action – pro and con – and works with government policymakers to see that the needs of the apartment industry are considered.

Randa Dick, Vice President, Membership Development
Oversees membership recruitment, engagement, and retention efforts while ensuring timely delivery of member services and accurate record management. Answers questions about member benefits and supports supplier members in marketing their businesses through advertising, sponsorships, and exhibit opportunities like the ABODE publication, Directory & Buyer’s Guide, and the annual Education Conference & Expo.

Lauren Ragin, CMP, Vice President of Education
Oversees the Houston Apartment Foundation education programs, credential programs and event planning, including the HAA Education Conference & Expo.

Lalo Cardenas, Vice President, Finance

Tina DeFiore, Vice President, Facility Management/RCR
Responsible for maintaining the Houston Apartment Foundation Building and oversees office building maintenance, rentals, supply purchase, and vendor contracts. Also responsible for the Rental Credit Reporting (RCR) department in partnership with SafeRent Solutions, including training, marketing, and maintaining partnerships with Houston area management districts.

 

Kasaundra Wright, CMP, Director, Events and Meetings
Oversees and organizes general membership meetings, special events and fund-raisers, including the Installation Gala, Chili Cook- Of, Honors Awards, and various tournaments.

Will Alfaro, Director of IT
Oversees online media including the Web site and e-mail communications. Provides information technology and job board support.

Deborah Nix, Director, Publications and Design
Oversees the creative development, editorial content and design of printed and digital materials, including ABODE magazine, the annual Directory and Buyer's Guide, event marketing and related projects.

Cindy Ramirez, Director of Accounting
Assists in revenue collections and daily operational accounting items including record keeping, invoicing and member accounts.

Matilde Luna, Director, Resident Relations
Answers questions from both apartment personnel and residents concerning leases and owners rights and responsibilities to provide an alternative to filing court cases. Oversees the two Resident Relations Committees.

Jakki Posada, Member Services/ Marketing Manager
Assists HAA staff and members with membership and marketing information. She handles membership records and updates and coordinates volunteer involvement.

Bianca Reyna, Education & Events Manager
Leads the Customer Service function, ensuring timely responses to inquiries about our educational programs and processing event registrations. Works closely with the VP of Education and Events Director to manage certification programs, workshops, and conferences, while monitoring student progress to ensure their success.

Morgan Waterman, Manager, Strategic Outreach
Works with members to implement and achieve HAA’s strategic membership growth goals and coordinates outreach meetings for the association’s 12-county area.

Sydney Chansamouth, Member Services Assistant
Assists in daily membership operations and supports the membership department by ensuring timely responses to prospects and members, maintaining accurate member records, assisting with events and facility operations.  

Ashley Murdock, Staff Accountant
Assists in daily operational accounting items and record keeping.
