Ambassador ONE Society (Organized Network Exchange)
The Ambassador ONE Society is composed of supplier partner members and assists HAA by contacting new and current members. The club volunteers inform members of upcoming events and promote membership benefits. Club participants also exchange industry information at monthly meetings. Century Club (Political Action Committee membership)
Open to all HAA members, the Century Club requires a $100 contribution to the Houston Apartment Association PAC, our political action committee. Century Club members may attend PAC functions and are represented in all votes. more info...
Community Outreach Committee
Responsible for developing and coordinating new and existing community service programs, such as the food drive and other activities. Meets as needed. more info...
Education Advisory Committee
Provides insight and guidance to support ongoing education initiatives and helps HAA develop new programs and meet the education needs of an ever-evolving industry. Both Owner/management and supplier members help HAA raise awareness of careers in the industry by talking with high school and college students. more info...
Expo Exhibitor Committee
Assists with sales and promotion of the HAA EXPO, the association's annual trade show. Open to all members, who may be asked to qualify by selling a designated number of exhibit spaces. Meetings based on need. more info...
HAF Chili Cook-off Education Fund-raiser Committee
Responsible for planning and coordinating the annual chili cook-off education fund-raiser for the Houston Apartment Foundation. Meets as needed to plan the event. more info
Go-Getter Club
Formed to promote HAA membership recruitment, this group of owner/management and supplier members recruits companies to join the association. To participate, all you need is an interest in promoting HAA. more info...
HAA NEXT Committee
Helps to plan and promote HAA NEXT (young professional) events. A team devoted to developing themselves and the young professionals around them to become the next leaders of our industry. Political Action Committee (PAC)
A political action committee that supports candidates for public office. There are different levels of PAC membership from $100 to $1,500 and is open to all HAA members. Fill out the suppliers or owner/management application form to get active. Meetings are scheduled several times a year, particularly before elections, and often feature candidates as guest speakers. more info...
Resident Relations Committee
Two Resident Relations committees meet to resolve resident-owner disputes regarding security deposit refunds. Each committee consists of six owner members, six managers, six supplier members and one owner member chairperson. Each committee meets monthly or as needed at HAA. more info...
