Property Award Selection Process
Award categories will be decided based on the type (age, size, style) and number of nominations received each year.
Previous Honors Award winners are not eligible for consideration again for the same property for three years
.
Once all nominations have been submitted, they will be reviewed by the Property Awards Committee and finalist properties will be selected.
Finalist properties will be toured between April 4 and May 5. Judging teams will visit each property unannounced, so be sure to prepare your on-site teams for a surprise visit.
Each judge will score finalist properties confidentially, and scores will be tallied by committee team captains and submitted directly to HAA staff
.
